I am looking for the birthplace of Benjamin Cornell, born 15 Mar 1773 in
town of Bedford. Benjamin lived in Maryland, but there is no town of
Bedford. Family information says he might have been born in Pennsylvania,
but I couldn't find a town of Bedford there either. There is a Bedford in
Virginia near the Maryland border. Could this be the town?

Benjamin married Rosannah Foley from Hampshire co., Virginia (this county is
now in West Virginia). They moved to Ohio and then to Middlebury, Indiana,
where they both died. Also, any information on Rosannah's family would be
appreciated.
