Hi, Jeffrey,

Somewhere I did read that Joseph Cornell was supposed to be a
descendant of one of the Dutch Cornell lines. The one I would guess
at the moment is Thomas Cornell, b. 1699, who lived at Jamaica, LI
and had descendants later in northern Dutchess Co. where two of my
Canadian Cornell ancestors also lived for a short time.
