I saw a message in the Devon gen site with Harris included in the names being researched and with Devon and Cornwall in parenthesis following it. My maiden name is Harris but I can trace the name back only to William, born about 1735 somewhere in the UK. He died in Virginia USA in 1792. I realize this is a long long shot in the dark, but does anyone by any chance have a William of that period? Thank you for anything you may have.
