Subject: MARTINS CENSUS LOOKUP
Date: Sun, 14 Mar 1999 23:41:40 EST

Hello all,

I'm puzzled by a census transcription on the Kindred Konnections site, for St.
Ives district 3; schedule 049.

Name Position in Marital
Age
Family Status

MARTINS, JAS HEAD M
46
MARTINS, MARY DAU U
20
MARTINS, JAS SON U
15
MARTINS, JAS SON U
13
MARTINS, CATH A DAU -
10
MARTINS, JOHN SON - 8
MARTINS, ANDREW SON -
5
MARTINS, ELIZ DAU -
3

Notice two sons, both living named James! Does anyone have access to the
actual
1871 census to double check, also could anyone check 1861 for the same family?

I will check 1881 tomorrow, but I fear the boys may have moved out by then.

The wife of the head, James MARTINS, was perhaps away visiting on the day of
the census, does anyone have an Ann MARTINS showing up anywhere?

Thanks for any help,

Best wishes,
Jim.
