Hello Listers

Is anyone researching the name NANKIVELL in St Agnes?

I have John Nankivell who married Mary JORY at St Agnes in 1784 but I can't find his parents.
I have 2 possibles:
Elias & Mary Nankivell who had a son John in 1749 at St Agnes
Samson & Prudence Nankivell who had a son John in 1744 at St Agnes

I seem to have hit a brick wall and don't know how to find who belongs to who.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
