Ron,
Suggest you ask the library to get you the "Metalliferous Mining Region of
SW England", by H.G.Dines pub HMSO 1956. You need vol 1. You will find
several pages of details on the Bassett mining setts which covered an
extensive area between Carnmenellis & Carn Brea. There is a good section
drawing of the mines in this book. Basset itself ran from 815 to abt 1905
raising tin & copper.
