Hi, Violet,
I never meant to imply that the egg was created spontaneously by anything other than the predecessor of chickens. At some point a bird that did not have enough characteristics of chickens to be called
a chicken, laid an egg containing an embryo that grew to be identifiable as a chicken. Of course the parent birds incubated that egg. <|8>)
I'm sure I haven't heard the last of this chicken/egg thing, but I enjoy the conversations. Even if my postulations on that line might be open to question, at least I got the important stuff about
Christmas right. I've said it before, and I'll say it again; Merry Christmas!
