In the name of God Amen I Henry Body of the Parish of Quethiock in the
County of Cornwall do make this my last Will and Testament in manner
following First I give and bequeath unto my son William Body at my
decease all that Dwelling House and Garden situated in Quethiock
Churchtown which I hold under a lease for lives dated the twenty fourth
day of June one thousand seven hundred and seventy one my interest in
the same.
I give and bequeath unto my my son Henry Body at my decease during his
life (but no longer) all that Dwelling House and Garden situated in
Quethiock Churchtown which I hold under a lease for lives dated the
twenty eighth day of June one thousand seven hundred and eighty four and
if my interest should continue in the said premises after the death of
my son Henry Body then I give and bequeath the same unto my Grandaughter
Jane Hawken during the remainder of my interest in the same I give and
bequeath unto my Daughter Charity Bennett (Widow) at my decease all that
Dwelling House and Garden situated in Quethiock Churchtown which I hold
under an assignment of a lease dated the first day of August one
thousand and eight hundred and twenty three during the interest I have
in the same. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Dorothy Wood the sum
of two guineas and all such sum or sums of money that shall or may be
due to me from her husband at the day of my death for rent of the house
and Garden which they now reside in.
I give and bequeath unto my Daughters Elizabeth Alwell and Mary Hawken
at my decease the sum of twenty five pounds each all the aforesaid
legacies to be paid by my Executors hereafter named.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my money, goods, chattels and
effects (after paying my Debts, Legacies, burial expenses and proving
this my last Will and Testament I give and bequeath unto my sons William
and Henry equally between them share and share alike and I do hereby
nominate and appoint them joint executors of this my last Will and
Testament.
In witness whereof I the said Henry Body the Testator have to this my
last Will and Testament set and subscribed my hand and seal the eighth
day of October one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.

in the presence of us at his request
in the presence of each other have subscribed
our names as the Witnesses thereto
