As a completely off hand thought, why couldn't some of the Spanish
bloodlines come from some lucky soul who survived the wreckers?????? I know
that our Cornish Forefathers wouldn't have intentionally wrecked a ship on
the Cornish Coast, but what would happen if one accidentally was wrecked and
one of the sailors escaped death and landed on the coast. Many folk stories
turn out to have a basis in fact, perhaps the Spanish who landed in Cornwall
landed just this way??? O r perhaps they fished off the coast and put in
during storms or something??????
Regards,
Peter.
