Further to recent threads about the value of this Estate as discussed, I
think Michelle and Trevor - and possibly others - may be interested to
learn that if it was worth, as stated, just GBP-300 in year 1822 the
equivalent, officially, at least by 1996 - the latest date I have in the
calculations of growth rates - its value would be GBP-15,865.52.

That's a pretty good <investment> indeed, isn't it? Just imagine having
300 <1822> Savings Bonds or Certificates about ready now for encashment
on an interest plus index-linked basis (not serious, of course <g>)!!
