Dear Friends in Oz

I have a problem which I hope somebody can help me with. For several years
I've been trying to find details of two Great Uncles in my family history
who emigrated to Oz and about whom I have next to no information. They were:

Joseph Stick, born 24 Apr 1823 in Tywardreath, was married to Susanna
Wellington Stick, his cousin, 4 Oct 1846 in Tywardreath. Susanna was bapt.
10 Oct 1825 in St Ewe. They had a daughter, Ann Wellington who was born and
died in 1848. Shortly after, Joseph and Susanna are known to have emigrated
to Oz.

Joseph's brother John Stick, born 1 Dec 1824 in Tywardreath, was married to
Ann Littleton 27 Oct 1849. However, she died Abt 1857 in Tywardreath. John
is known to have emigrated to Oz sometime after possibly to join his
brother. I know that he died in 1904 in Cranbourne, Victoria.

Those are all the facts I have and obviously I'd like to know more about
what happened to them in Oz, whether they had families out there, etc.

I wonder can anyone offer me any help. If so please contact me privately at

Kind regards

Dave
