My grandfather, Thomas John THOMAS, was Cornish although born in the US
(New Jersey). He worked as a machinest in the copper mines of the UP of
Michigan as did his father who was born in Cornwall. My grandfather was an
avid Mason and ended up managing the Medinah Temple in Chicago. I don't
know if his father was a Mason also or if he was when he might have become
one.
