I can't wait to get to Annie's cottage in Duck Street to meet all the lovely
people on this List, along with their ancestors. Now I must admit that I
was very disappointed when JohnO cancelled the pre-Christmas affaire at
Hampton Court and I wondered since John lives near there if he would run
over and, on behalf of all his subjects in Cornwall, invite Henry VIII and
his entourage down to Mousehole for our party. We can easily erect a
virtual palace within walking distance of Annie's Cottage and I rather fancy
Christmas Dinner with a whole pig roasting on the spit, some peacock pie,
and a pewter mug of mead in my hand while we listen to Alison's carols.
Please also invite all of his wives as I would love to meet them. (I
believe Anne Boleyn is a member of this list - come in, Anne!) We ladies in
all of our finery may even compete to be his next wife! He'll probably
choose Elizabeth once he tastes her cooking! (No, I won't lose my head - if
he doesn't behave, he may lose his!) I may even climb up into the attic and
see if my farthingale is still there and come in Elizabethan dress. Oh
Annie, I hope your cottage door is wide enough to let me in!

Come on, JohnO, don't be shy - run over and ask him and let us know what he
says. We don't want him to miss the sight of Sandra skydiving onto the roof
of Annie's cottage. If we don't hear from you in three days, we will know
you are in the Tower and will send food parcels.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas!
