Thank goodness you are back! The voice of reason is heard in the land! Or
was it the cuckoo--or the turtledove. You have smoothed out all the wrinkles
in our brains and we understand now what is going on.

I told you that Hennie was bring back the cloth of gold for ME. I didn't
expect to have to share it with EVERYONE. I will fash my own
dress--depending on hot glue, staplers and scotch tape. generic term. This
thoroughly modern. No "sewing a fine seam" for me.

Please forgive facetious remarks re: you know what. It was just the
excitement of anticipation for most of us girls. The long cloaks will be
stunning I am sure, but a decided disappointment.

Am looking forward to the can can which I performed in days of yore. I am
sure I am still capable of a virtual cartwheel, a virtual splits, and a sly
lift of the skirts. Can't wait.

/So Hogarth is coming. So glad. I am getting sick of his "attitude".

Got the tree decorated last night with the help of the two more recent
generations. Thank goodness. Now I can concentrate on cooking.
