In the book titled the Martin Family of Stithians in Cornwall compiled by
Edward A. Martin I have come across a Susan Martin who emigrated to
Australia in 1849 as an infant. She had a brother born around 1847 called
James. Her parents were Henry Bawden (or Bowden) MARTIN baptised at 17 Mar
1823 at Stithians, Copper Miner. His wife was Jane ROWE, Widow. They
emigrated to Australia and arrived in
Sydney on the "Thomas Arbuthnot" from Plymouth on 17th January 1849. Went
on to a copper mine at Summer-hill Georgiana, near Bathurst, in New South
Wales.

I don't have Susan's marriage partner.

Could this be the one your friend is seeking.
