Dear Joan,
Ben is delighted to know that his great friend Chip is going to sit with him
at the Wedding! His tail has not stopped wagging since he heard the news.
He has in fact asked his Auntie Eunice (who minds him when we go away) to
make him a new dress shirt so that he will match Chip. He has a rather
squashed top hat but it will be resurrected for the occasion.
He is drooling himself at the thought of the awaiting bone especially with
the wine sauce.
He wants me to ask Chip if he thinks it might be a good idea if they sing a
Duet at the reception? His idea is that Fiona and Perla fill in the
background music with Rossini's Cats Symphony. Ben asks what song would
Chip prefer that they sing? He is leaving the choice to Chip but would like
some time to practice - the throat must be lubricated sufficiently -he is by
the way a bass baritone.

Warm regards and look forward to hearing from you and Chip.
We are going to pick up Marilyn from South Australia on the way through.

Mary
