Hello,
I just joined the list.
I am searching for Clarice, my grandmother. Nicholls was her maiden
name. As of Jan 10,1931, she had been living at 49 Brook St. in
Southwark,London. She had 3 children out of wedlock. One of them, my
mother, Muriel Margaret, was born November 21,1930, now deceased.
However, my mother did relate to me that her mother came from
Cornwall.
It's not much to go on, but all I have for now and from what I've
seen, there does seem to be some truth in what my mother was told. I
have seen quite a few requests for NICHOLLS in Cornwall.
