Can sks tell me the dates of the Cornish reunion next May?
I asked about the pronunciation of the word Dewhelans and was told it is
pronounced exactly as it is spelt. I think I also need to know where the
syllables divide and where the stress falls. I am debating between: De
whelanz
Dew whelanz
Dew weelanz
Dew wellanz
Dew whaylans
Dew haylans
Dew aylanz
Dew eelens. etc.
Is there some knowledgable lister who can illustrate the pronumciation either
as I have represented the various AS-IT-IS-SPELTS or with Oxford dictionary
diacritical marks? I'd really like to toss this word out as an impressive
conversational opener, but am reluctant to display my ignorance.

and all the variations noted in different combinations.
