Hi List
Paul Brewer suggested those of us who have extracted/abstraced Wills let
the list know. At:
http://community.webtv.net/geniefriend/StStephenInBrannel
are extracts for St Stephen In Brannel wills from Volume 11, Wills
Proved and Registered in the Archdeaconry, Court of Cornwall, from the
25th day of May 1770 to the 20th day of Aprl 1774 and Volume 12, ibib,
from the 25th of April 1774 to the 6th of May 1777. This is an ongoing
project and other volumes will be tackled as time permits.
There is also a list of Will References for 1738 to 1812 of St Stephen
In Brannel wills and what LDS Family History Center microfilm number
where they will be found.
Also many individuals have donated various wills they have
extracted/abstracted to St Stephen In Brannel website. Should you have
any wills for St Stephen In Brannel and would like to see them on line
please contact me.
I might also add the St. Erth's website has several St Stephens wills
online, plus many other parishes.
I'm sure there are other sites that have St Stephen In Brannel wills
listed. Please let me know so I can let others know too.
As a side note - I have added a link to other OPC websites. Please let
me know if I missed yours.
Also - Paul, you mentioned you were adding wills to a website - is this
online yet? If so would you share the URL?
Thanks to all on this list who post such wonderful information - what a
great place to learn more about our beloved Cornwall.
