Yes the west coast people need a pick up. I have traditionally waited
at the top of Sumas Mtn, near the Washington/British Columbia border,
but it's been so windy the last few days, I think I'll wait inside
until I hear who's coming by and when. Perhaps they could put down on
the little lake out behind our place this year, just for a moment, or
beam me up when they get the coordinates. I am a little behind in
what's happening but I gather the Ely Moose Wagon with the pump organ
will be here shortly - just give me 2 min to pack! Thank goodness I
still have my parka from living in Winnipeg for 26 years!
I am also one of the knitters. This group actually started 4 years
ago when I volunteered to bring a quilted tree skirt and a Noble Fir
tree - I can bring those again if all agree (better make that if
*anyone* agrees) - but I think it was Henry's friend who decided we
should all be known as knitters. I CAN knit, but am better known
these days for my quilting. I'm glad we won't have to knit anything
for the elephant, or is there more than one? And I'm not volunteering
to quilt something for an elephant either! Do we have a project yet,
or are we just keeping busy?
