Looking for descendants of Mary Jane Williams OATS, born 1857 on board the
Westminster as it sailed to New Zealand. Mary's father Thomas died the
following year as did a new brother. Her Mother Mary took Mary Jane back to
Cornwall. Mary (snr) did not remarry but Mary Jane married James BENNETTS.

Also on the Westminster were H & E OATS. I believe these were Honour
(christened at St Just on 2 Nov 1832) and Elizabeth (Christened 11 May
1834). They were daughters of Thomas and Mary (DAVEY) and sisters of my
GGrandmother. I have not been able to trace them after their arrival in NZ
and have wondered if they went back to Cornwall. Any information about them
would be appreciated.
