Hi all,

As many of you know, I live in California, but I'm vacationing at Cape Cod,
Massachusetts for a month. My nephew has a laptop computer and I could not
resist joining CornishL while on vacation. <VBG> Am I hung up on genealogy or
what???

John Zimmerman --- if you're reading this, you can imagine MY problem in
trying to hook up to my computer at home!!! But I did it!

Anyway --- for anyone living in Troon, Cornwall or any Trewhella researchers
--- I had lunch today with Pat (Roberts) Jackson who lived on Treslothan Road
in Troon as a young person and knew your parents, David Oates. She lives in
Wilmington, Delaware for part of the year and Provincetown, Massachusetts for
the rest of it. She also knows David Rashleigh's family. (Both David's are in
the Holman Climax Choir.)

Pat descends from Ann Trewhella (born 1820) who was a daughter of John and
Mary Trewhella. I'll be in touch with her before I leave to get more info. I did
not bring ANY of my family history info with me this year and am kicking
myself for thinking I would not need it!!!
