Answer to Gay:
I suggest you take one of England's luxurious trains to Plymouth and
hire a car there. If you are new to "wrong side" driving, and plan to visit
areas only accessible by the scenic but very narrow roads, DO NOT let the cars
following too closely throw you for a loop. Take your time. Another
suggestion, depending on your itinerary is to hire a car and driver in Cornwall. My
friend found one in Truro who also owned a B&B. That was very convenient for
her, but we did prefer to do our own driving without deadlines or definite
destinations. It was relaxing and a trip I will never forget. Enjoy your journey.
