I have a Thomas Francis born 1796, in my data base, son of Thomas Francis
and Susannah Merrifield. I have very little information about this family
except Susannah was from Newlyn East. This would fit with the Thomas in the
1841 aged 50.

If this link looks to be of interest contact me off line and I can share
quite extensive history of this Francis line.
