Dear Partygoers:

I'm going to be late at the party but want to wish you all a merry time. I
shall be away until Sunday night and I do so hope the party will be still
going when I arrive on Monday. The Dishy Pilot has offered to bring me and
being so late I will probably have him all to myself. Lord Chip, the big
black noble Labrador, has gone on ahead as he was keen to get acquainted
with Traveller,the Wonder Dog and the parrots. Please keep any eye on him
for me. Lorna, he says he is willing to act as local transport for the
parrots. They can just perch on his back and will take them anywhere they
want to go. He will submit his bill each day as he likes cash on the nail!

My stone masons, builders, carpenters, etc. should be arriving any minute
and they will probably all be down at the local pub. You should be able to
hear their singing all over the village.

Well, I will pack my knitting needles and up and away. See you Monday and
make sure you save me some leftovers if you have already had the feast!
