Thanks you Corinne, the parrots are cavorting in their gummy flower skirts. They are finding it difficult to pirouette in their shiny black boots, also, they don't think the skirts quite go with their top-hats, but they are politically correct except for their bare little buns.
They are asking for knitted bras and panties in flame orange and lime green - striped this year please with no holes.
I am standing in front of the Trepanning Post Office looking at a sign that says: "You Are Here!" with an arrow pointing off to the left. I follow the arrow to a sign that says: "You Were Here" with an arrow pointing down. I look down and there is a sign saying: "You Have Been Here!" and another sign beside it: "You Were Here Yesterday - Goodbye!" I meander on with the parots twirling beside me wondering how to get to the caravan camp-site. They are humming something that sounds like the little cygnets from Swan Lake... really awful, but I have to put up with it, I suppose.
I can hear music coming from a lofty organ somewhere in the sky. Maybe I have died and gone to heaven, on the other hand, it could just be a mouth organ - hard to tell. I need to start practicing for my rendition of English Music Hall songs for the grand wind up party.
Parting thought: Captain Vegemite (oh, darn, I said the forbidden word) is conspicuous by his absence.
Loony Lorna - who fancies herself as Lorna Doone - Gregory Peck is spoken for. Atticus or otherwise, he is mine!
