Accents everywhere vary in "strength." Our friends in Ponsanooth were
fairly strong (ex farmers), others "cultured" and others, of course, are
incomers. My mother spoke very well but she could mimic her grandfather
down to a tee, at least I assume so as he was gone before I knew him.

When I was much younger, the best pasties were from Bendigo made by a firm
called Gillies bought at the shop window where you could see them being
made. The distributed ones to other outlets are from their factory and ARE
NOT THE SAME! Come to think of it, when I was even younger had good
pasties at Ballarat
