New to this list I am seeking the origins of my maternal ggparents who emigrated to Sth Australia.

They were:

1) Stephen NICHOLLS born ca 1806, miner, and his wife Jane NICHOLLS nee TRAGAY/TRAGUY, born ca 1812.
They, with three children, embarked on the 'Lady Bruce' at Plymouth on 2 Aug 1846 and arrived Adelaide 11 Nov 1846. Stephen worked as a miner and they lived in Adelaide, Mintaro and Kadina SA.

2) John HOOPER, born ca 1823, miner, who arrived Sth Aus per 'Isabella Watson' in May 1846. In 1849 at Burra SA he married Emlyn BROWN, born Exeter ca 1831.

So can sks advise me how I get a date and place of birth for the above? I am visiting UK in September and would like to follow this up.
