I think it is time to post my SCANTY information once again. Seeking info on
a MARY COUCH who married James McGhee, a Scots-Irish trader. I have no
birthdate for Mary, but believe her oldest son to be Burton McGhee, b.1811.
Extrapolating from that, guess her to have been born 1790+/-. I also believe
Mary to be from NC, perhaps the Ashville area.

Anyone have a spare Mary hanging around that fits this description and who
you've not been able to trace further? You can find Mary Couch's undocumented
lineage with a birthdate which is probably much too early at:
