Just thought some of you might be interested in this as many of you have
Gabbard/Gabbert ancesters. Please feel free to cross post on other genealogy
lists you may be part of.

Hi all,
Just created this, most of us with genealogy pages are aquainted with
WebRings and what they do. Genealogically speaking, I thought having one
for our surname would help us out. So if you have your own homepage you
might want to check this out!
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Valley/4758/gabbertring.htm
"A genealogical WebRing dedicated to researching all Gabbert Families
including Gabbard, Gebert, Gebhard and other surname variants..."
Who Can Join?
The "Gabbert's, Gabbard's, Gebert's and related surnames Genealogy WebRing"
is open to any page containing data on a Gabbert (or Variant Surname) Family
its ancestors or descendants. The ring is also open to personal Web Pages
created by Gabbert's (or Variant Surname's) about themselves, their hobbies,
or other subjects but not necessarily containing genealogical data.
Sites should show a basic knowledge of HTML. There should be no broken
images on the site. Poor quality sites may be rejected, or repairs may be
requested. I will not accept any site which would not be appropriate for
family viewing, or any site which contains links to inappropriate sites.
Inappropriate content is by my personal definition, but suffice it to say,
if I would not show it to my own children, or if I'd be embarrassed to show
it to my Grandmother, then I don't want it in this ring. Commercial sites
are welcome provided that they are owned by an individual Gabbert (or
Variant Surname) and contain that individual's E-mail address, and that
individual does not mind being contacted with genealogical inquiries.
Best regards,
Tammy L. Gabbert-Giancola
