Albert L. Stuart b. CT1819 studied law as a teenager in Shelby County Tennessee. Found on 1840 Census there along with a marriage license dated January 2, 1840 to Susan Rea, b. Tn. Had son George W. in December of that year. In 1841 moved to Greensboro, AR and established NE AR Law Practice. He lived one mile east of what is now GOOBERTOWN until his death from a mule kick in 1876 and is buried at Woods Chapel. He had a string of STUART children and grands who live either side of Greene/Craighead lines to this day?

Albert serve in Arkansas State Legislature from Greene County 1850-1852
