Eddie,

My folks were all in Greenville, SC from about 1798 until at least 1807.
John Couch Sr and wife Ann (Sarah Nancy Ann) was there as were his brothers
Issac, James, and Benjamin.

At least two sons of John Couch sr were also there. John Couch Jr, his wife
and family and my direct ancestor Thomas Couch and his wife Elvey Lynch.
Their son John was b Greenville, SC in 1800 and my gg grandfather was born
there in 1803. All of these went to Alabama. All these Couches had come
from Spartanburg County, SC along the Enoree river.

Benjamin stayed in Greenville and had sons Eli and Levi. Issac and James
moved to Laurens County, SC. If you have not already done so the Greeville,
SC GEn Page has a really complete 1800 census of Greenville. There were
other Couches there. Hopes this helps.
