Lila,
I am an Alabama Couch whose ancestors hail from north Alabama. I am
familiar with Jacob Couch of Greene County, Tennessee who had a son named
Peter who went to Gandy's Cove in Morgan County. In fact, Peter's house he
built is still standing and I visited it last year. Randolph Couch was also
in Morgan County. Do you have any idea where Jacob Couch came from? A
friend of mind who descends from this line and I have beeen looking for ages
for Jacob's ancestors in South Carolina and elsewhere. Can you shed light
on Jacob's origin? Thanks.
Robert H. Couch
