Just thought I'd let all you Couch researchers know, that I recently
went to Sinking Creek Cemetery in Dade County, MO and have pictures of
Lindley and Susannah COUCH's graves. If you wish for me to send to you,
email me privately. I have them already scanned and can send to you via
email.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with these names, here's a little
about them:

Lindley COUCH. Born on 7 Feb 1773 in SC. Lindley died in Everton, Dade
Co., MO on 9 Mar 1863; he was 90. Buried in Everton, Dade Co., MO. On 6
Oct 1812 when Lindley was 39, he married Susannah ATNIP, in Pulaaski
Co., KY Or TN. Born on 10 Nov 1791 in VA. Susannah died in Everton, Dade
Co., MO on 26 Nov 1866; she was 75.

Lindley was son of:

MOSES COUCH. MOSES married ELIZABETH LINDLEY Elizabeth was the daughter
of John Lindley and Sara Pyle. Moses and Elizabeth were found in
Spartanburg, SC, in early 1790 along the Enoree River because he had a
land grant there. Moses is said to have been found in the census of SC
in 1800-1820, in possibly Laurens Co, SC. Two of their children were:

1) Lindley COUCH; probably born in South Carolina on Feb. 7, 1793.

2) Malinda COUCH; probably born in South Carolina about 1795

I am a direct descendant of Malinda, Lindley's sister... I am also
looking for verified info on the wherebouts of Malinda COUCH STOGSDILL's
resting place. Info has to been sent to me that she is buried at Oregon
County, MO. She is not listed in that county's Cemetery book,
however....
