Hello Kay: I was named after my mother's sister - I understand it is of
Indian origin. My father was Ellis E. Couch, b. 1901 in Healdton, Indian
Territory OK, son of William Rufus Couch b. 1872 in Clarksville, Arkansas.
William's father was Samuel T. Couch, b. abt 1849 in Tennessee. Samuel T.'s
father was also Samuel Couch, b. abt 1806 in Tennessee. I do not have know of
any of my Couches living in Columbia Co., Arkansas.
