Hi Cuz Ken: I too am related to John Couch Sr. out of Pickens Co., SC. According to the information I have on him he was born in NC around 1780 Also according to my information on his wife Mary Ann Prather, she was born approx 1785 in the Pendleton Dist of SC. and not much more. A few years back a Couch history was compiled by Mrs. R.V.Pompee, Sarah C. Couch, Huston Couch, Joyce Gilstrap and D.S. Couch. I would very much like to add Mary Ann Prather's line back and I intend to keep looking for John, Sr. beginings.
