Hello
Here is what I can transcribe with these tired eyes.

Richmond Jan. 20th 1848
Dear Brother
dinin of the pin and Permit me to inform you the silent me-father That I
have been prospered above my most amagine expectations and most ???? degree
of ????fulli???. Kind brother though miles lay between us untraversed by me,
yet believe me I have not forgotten thee.

That is the start of this letter, and then the letter sent back to him by
his brother on the same paper. The writing is beautiful, old, and small, so
I will need to have this enlarged more for me to read it. Sorry.
The letter is in it's original envelope with postage and cancelation.
What I will hope to be able to do is to transcribe this and provide such
to transcription free to everyone who wants a copy here online. However, the
original has valuable postal value, over and above the genealogical value to
family. For it's age, it is of fairly good condition and majority is legible,
although small of writings. I have only opened fully once, to make this one
set of photo copies. But if I can get it magnified sufficiently for my tired
eyes, I may be able to transcribe 95% plus of it.
I don't believe I am any relation to these brothers or the Couch Family.
