Interesting!

In the biography of Harvey Couch (son of Drury and grandson of Ole Thomas
Couch of SC) Harvey's ancestor William Couch is quoted as saying that his
family originally was in New England and then in Virginia by 1700s. Does
this coinside with Windwalker's idea that the Couch family may have
originated with the CT Couch family? This certainly needs more research.
