Just 2 cents worth from a very amateur Couch researcher. I do have a hard
time believing the 500 lb story but, George Washington was a colonel during
the French and Indian War and could have been in command of this mystery
John at that time. It would be interesting to see if that pans out
regardless of the 500 lb tale.
