John Couch son of Drury and brother of Wm who married Rebecca Pierce
Help!!!!!
In the 1850 Pike Co., GA Census John is shown with Elizabeth
In 1860 Tallapoosa Co., Ala. Census is shown with Berthia*
In 1870 Pike Co., GA Census John appears to be back in GA. with Betheny*

* these spelling from census records. I think I have it on marriage license
spelled Bethunia (don't have that record with me I'm out of town)

So it appears that Elizabeth died or they divorced between 1850 and 1860.

Does anyone have in info that would show which happened. Are there cemetery
books for Pike Co. GA for that time period?
How about divorce records?
