Bill, you have the Couch Web site for this family as Thomas John Couch and I
have never seen the name used in front of the name John. I have a copy of
the WILL of this John Couch and I have posted it to the web site. Have you
seen it and if not, I will send you a copy. The John Couch that you have
listed is the son of James Couch and James is the son of John.

My gggrandfather is the John Couch who married Ann Anderson and had the son
Allen Howard and after Ann died he married her sister and the sister is the
mother of my Orrell Gist who was born in VA, moved toKY (he was still
living at home) when John moved to KY. Orrell G Couch is buried in Webster
county MO and Orrell is the father of my grandmother, Ora Emma Couch Hunt.
