Hello Bill and Kim
There are two different Samuel Couchs. I at one time thought they were the
same but my Samuel came to Gwinnett Co Ga. around 1830 and was there until
about 1848 when he moved to Clarke Co. I thing the other Samuel from
Laurens Co was in SC during this time. I do feel they are closely kin
because my Samuel's oldest son was born in Laurens Co. SC around 1826. So it
seems that both Samuels were in Laurens Co at the same time. Possibly my
Sameul's father, possible John, and the other Sameul's father might have
been brothers.
Larry

Kim,
Just ran across your e-mail which I had on file. I am most interested in
your Samuel Couch. Larry Parr of Georgia and I have the exact 25 marker DNA
match and he too descends from Samuel Couch.
He tells the story that he descends from a John Couch who was a British
soldier who came into South Carolina before the Rev. War. We have another
several Couches with perfect 25 marker DNA matches and thee including
Webmaster of the CouchGenWeb Bill Couch of Arkansas who are just one marker.
Do you think your Samuel Couch could be the same Samuel as that of Larry
Parr?
Let me hear more about your line. We need to find a connection between all
these folks.
Bob Couch
