Joyce,

Plese do not take offense! I am talking of the multitude of John Couches
all over. I have no doubt that John Couch was the father of Martin in
Kentucky even thought I really have not seen proof of this nor have I even
looked. I do not really know for sure who your John's Father was. But how
about all those other John Couches. For whom was Couches creek in Brunswick
Co, VA named for? Who was the John Couch in Brunswick County, VA? Who was
Captain John Couch of Buckingham County, VA and his brother James whose
relative Dr Richard Couch matches 25 DNA with me perfectly. Who was the
John Couch named as a son and administrator of the 1776 will of Ole Thomas
Couch of Enoreee, SC. What about John and Mary Prather in the Pendelton
District of Pickins Co, Al, the John Couch on the north fork of the Saluda
river in Greenville County, SC? I have census and land records of John
Couch in Madison County, AL with John Jr and Thomas on adjacent farms on
Indian Creek in Madison County, AL.

Perhaps you have it all figured out but I do not. I am open to proof. Can
you prove to me who all these Johns were? Perhaps you and all the Kentucky
Couches have it all figured out with no chance of confusion. I was merely
saying to the new John Couch of Ohio that there were many John Couches.
