Looking for information on a family of Coughlans from Kinsale, most particularly William Coughlan, labourer, b. circa. 1854 who married Ellen Fowler, dressmaker, b. circa 1852 in the RC Chapel at Kinsale Nov. 8, 1879.

Ellen was the daughter of Robert Fowler, ropemaker, of Kinsale. William's father was Michael Coughlan, listed as a labourer on the marriage certificate.

A daughter Julia was born in Kinsale and baptised Feb. 4 1883.

In the 1901 Kinsale census, William and Ellen Coughlan are residing at #9 Rock Street, along with Cecilia Coughlan, another daughter I assume.

Yet another daughter, Elsie, age 21, appears in the 1901 British census, employed as a dressmaker and living in Bristol, England with her widowed aunt, Elizabeth (Calnan or Callanan) Fowler, and two of her unmarried young adult children. Elsie Coughlan would have been born about 1880.

Is anyone else researching these Coughlans?
