Hi! I am interested in Weld County because my mother was born there in a
little town called Mead. Her parents were Johann Carl Kaiser & Elizabeth
Georg (York). They were Germans from Russia, from the Volga German sites
of Norka & Beideck. My mom was the first of their children to be born in
America on 26 Mar 1919.
Her name was Leona Kaiser.
We are taking a trip back to Colorado this coming summer & will be
"checking out your county!"
