Subject: look-ups or..?

I only have the names of two Cox ancestors. A grandfather and his father.
The ggrandfather comes up in the Cox Coop link to Alabama marriages, but I
can't seem to get past that.
I posted to the list a couple of times, but no reply.

I have his name as --

STANMORE COX married to a ZUMA ST. JOHN in Alabama.

The son's name is John Hubert Tallie Cox.

I guess as with many, they seemed to come out of TN. into northern AL. and
generally stayed - I think.

Do you know of anyone who may follow this line that I could write to?
I'm assuming it could be a pretty uneventful line... since I can't scare up
any mention..?
Do you know of anyone I could approach about these guys?
I have none of the usual references and I've been to our LDS library to look
for books. I've exchanged e-mail with Mr. Owen and for a bit, I thought
maybe a relation to his ever elusive Caleb. I've asked Cox relatives. I
haven't found a thread to follow. To my ability, I've searched fairly
patiently through list archives. Can someone offer a crumb of a clue? A
book, anything.

sincerely, Charles Widner
