Scotty,
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints & I can
tell you that if your relatives sent in thier 4 generation sheets in 1981;
you can find them in any Family History Center (usually located in one of
the Church buildings). Look under The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints, then look for 'genealogy library or Family History Center'. Go
there & any one of the Librarian's would be happy to help you look in the
"Ancestral File" for your family. It will give you the name & address of
the person or persons that have contributated to that file.
That is the only thing that the Church has asked us to do with our
genealogy. It is a shame that their files are in such a mess. Maybe if you
work from their Pedagree Chart to the Family Group Sheet. You maybe able to
sort it all out. But it will take you some time to go from page one to the
end. Did they not put their sources on the bottom of the page or on the
back??
Well I hope this will help you some.
