Cresap was among the Indian Scouts of the Indian border wars. I don't have
him in any family grouping but familiar name. He is mentioned in the VA
Court Records of SW PA book by Crumrine as are several Coxes although they
are not mentioned on any of the same pages as Cresap.
Cresap is also mentioned in the book "That Dark and Bloody River" about the
OH River by Eckert.
Did John Cox have any other sons beside David?
