I have a plat with the name Aleander Cox on land beside my ggg grandmother, Charlotte Cox and her son Archibald Jr. The land is located on the north side of Lynches River which was then, Old Marion county SC. The year was abt 1853. The question is has anyone ever run across the name, ALEANDER COX. Also any info on a WILLIAM COX, mid 1700 to early 1800 in the same area would be greatly appreciated.
