Howdy!

I am trying to track down any additional published or unpublished research by
Edward Aiken Crawford on the CRAWFORD family.

I have one artile by him. This is the citation"

Crawford, Edward Aiken. 1903. The Crawfords, 1643-1903. Gulf States
Historical Magazine 2:45-49.

In this article he details the descendants of John CRAWFORD (b. Ayrshire,
Scotland, imm. to Jamestown, Va., in 1643), but he also lists several other
family groups of U.S. CRAWFORDs, including one which may be of my ancestors.

In the article he wrote that he had many "letters, Bible records, and other data
from them and about them." He wrote that he would take up research on this line
as soon as he finished the line he was most interested in.

I wonder if the research was ever done, or where the source materials are
located.

At the time of the 1903 article, he lived in Midway, Fla.
